Every 4 years, there is a global print expo in Germany called DRUPA. This expo is the biggest in the world for the print industry and in May this year, Amit, Anand and Rag from the Ramco Printing Works team attended the expo. They bought some new equipment for the company that included:
A foiling machine: This puts gold and silver foil onto documents and diaries.
A Thread Sewing Machine: This ensures a professional book binding finish.
Color Management Software: This allows for automatic calibration of the proof and press to ensure that the final printed result is in perfect colour to ISO and customer standards.
CTP Machine: 8 years ago, Ramco was the first company in Kenya to have CTP and this machine is now being upgraded with this new investment.
Z-Card® Machine: This impressive machine allows for the production of the clever Z Card®. A Z-Card® is a patented folding system for paper that allows a lot of information to fit into a small document size. This product is ideal for banks, telecoms, insurers, shopping malls, game parks and for any reference material.
