ASL Packaging has invested in a rotary die in a bid to upgrade their manufacturing technique and solutions. The rotary die is an auxiliary attachment to the printing press that allows for the printing and cutting of a corrugated box to be done on one machine instead of two as before. Previously, the company would print the boards and then take them to a second machine for cutting.
As Mr. Rahim reiterates, Combining these 2 steps into one gives us greater cutting accuracy, faster production, improved efficiency and significant waste reduction; all this allows us to be more competitive and serve the customer better.
