The Kenya National Spelling Bee (KNSB) is Kenya’s largest English language spelling competition. It was established in a quest to help learners improve their spelling & vocabulary, develop proper English usage and promote a reading culture among learners.
Passionate about promoting a reading culture among learners, KNSB holds countrywide Spelling Bee competitions. Participation in the competition has grown over the course of 3 years, from 18,000 to over 400,000 registered pupils. It is committed to developing life lasting skills, self-confidence, and personal growth through correct spelling.
