As the closure of another COVID year enters its 11th hour, looking back and reflecting, what comes out very visibly is the endurance and sustainability that was our strength and encouragement. Fast forward… as we currently come out of what is usually the peak travel season and into the festive season, we can clearly see normalcy resumption knocking.
We have seen an increase in new business, probably as a result of suppliers who have not come off the deep end, winning some big tenders has been a great inspiration. The re-opening and easing of restrictions on some key destinations have also enhanced the resumption. However, the high has been the management of the pandemic and of course the vaccination.
We readily do not have as much of a variety as we use to round about this time of the year; for our outbound travel – it is mainly information-oriented, destination by destination basis, but the traffic is busy and full flights are becoming very common. Internally we are almost close to spoilt by choice as many locations have reopened and are subsequently, responding well to demand but again, we have witnessed fully booked accommodations.
One current project which we have been able to run with ready packages is destination Dubai where the Dubai Expo has resumed after a skip in 2020. This has proved popular and will continue to do so until the end of March 2022, so optimize the best of your next visit to UAE, be it on a different mission or on transit, and visit the global amazing Dubai Expo where you will get a pass if you book with the responsive carriers!
The festive season started early for us in early November culminating with the New Year on the 5th, fifty-five days down the line, we will celebrate another New Year!
