Kentainers have developed a new product for the Government of Kenya and Hwawei Communications-plastic manhole junctions. The plastic manhole junctions will be used to replace concrete manholes and also as junction sections for optic fibres countrywide. Due to their water-tight quality, plastic manhole junctions prevent water from seeping through the crevices. Kentainers said:
“Plastic chambers have many advantages over concrete chambers. Among them is easy installation and affordable maintenance, the fact that they prevent water seepage makes them the best option especially during the heavy rains. We are proud to be working on this project in conjunction with the Government and Hwawei.”
