Office Mart recently made the move to centralize their stores at their Homa Bay Road premises instead of within their CBD branches. The reasons behind this move were to improve distribution efficiency, avoid city traffic and reduce high rent storage in the CBD. It also has the added benefit of freeing up space in their retail stores to display a greater range of products.
The change also saw the corporate sales team and the entire accounts team relocate to the new premises. The move is only a few months old but is already delivering better results.
